Led by the gnome warlock Nasgrill, Direct Defiance was a US-Smolderthorn guild that focused on chill progression above strict playstyle.

I joined DD towards the end of Vanilla after the late nights and high tensions of the C'thun server first push had me swear off hardcore play. As they began their own raid journey, the laid back atmosphere had me start tanking on my paladin, Invisusira.
